Händel: Joy To The World

"Joy To The World" is one of my favourite Christmas carols. It's just so, well, joyful!

Playing duets with friends or family members is a lovely way to celebrate the holidays.

Maybe joyful and hopeful music is particularly important in a year in which many people around the world have faced great challenges.

Let's hope the new year will bring better times for all!

Joy To The World is one of 20 carols in my Violin and Cello Christmas Duet Book.

The Christmas Duet Book is also available for violin and viola, viola duet

viola and cello, and cello duet.

Wishing everyone a joyful holiday, and a happy new year with lots of music!

Vivaldi: Theme from Autumn (duet)

Duets are great for playing with friends or family!

This is one of the 21 pieces in my Violin and Cello Duet Book: the theme from the first movement of Vivaldi's "Autumn" - one of the violin concertos that make up his famous Four Seasons. These concertos are some of the most beloved classical pieces ever, with good reason! In this melody, Vivaldi captures the joy of Italian peasants celebrating a bountiful harvest.

A real celebration of autumn 💛

Vivaldi: Theme from Spring for Viola and Cello Duet

Springs is here! And what better way to celebrate it than by playing the famous melody from Vivaldi's Spring?

Actually, this tune is too nice to be available for just violinists... So here's a version for viola and cello!

You'll find this piece and 20 other duets in my Viola and Cello Duet Book - available for download at Sheet Music Plus.
